1.Scope of this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how this marketing website (the pages you are reading now — home, features, FAQ, and legal pages) uses cookies and similar browser storage.
When you sign in to the Todofy app (web or iOS), separate storage applies for authentication and your tasks. That is described in our Privacy Policy, not in this document.
4.What we do not use
- Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar cross-site profiling tools
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Third-party marketing trackers on this website
5.What site owners can see (admin insight)
When a visitor chooses Accept or Necessary only, we also write a small JSON event to our Cloudflare R2 bucket under ops/marketing/cookie-consent/ (same bucket as the main app). As admin, open Cloudflare → R2 → your bucket → that folder. Each file contains choice, time, locale, page path, and country (from Cloudflare) — no email or account id.
Cloudflare CDN access logs (Analytics / Log Explorer) show raw requests separately; they do not include the accept/reject choice. Use the ops/ files for consent stats.
Consent choices are also stored in each visitor's browser (cookie todofy.consent). Use DevTools → Application → Cookies to inspect your own choice.
- Open DevTools (F12 or right-click → Inspect)
- Go to Application → Cookies → your site (e.g. todofy.net)
- Find
todofy.consent— value is JSON, e.g.{"choice":"all","at":"2026-07-05T10:00:00.000Z","v":"1"}
choice is all (accept optional cookies) or necessary (reject non-essential). Delete this cookie to see the banner again on your next visit.
Marketing analytics (Plausible): when visitors choose accept all, page views are counted in your analytics dashboard — total visitors, popular pages, countries, and devices (aggregated, no personal profiles). Configure the site domain in NEXT_PUBLIC_PLAUSIBLE_DOMAIN (e.g. todofy.net). Visitors who choose necessary only are not counted.
- Server and CDN logs (e.g. Cloudflare): approximate country, requested page, browser type, and timestamp. These are technical logs for security and operations, not a marketing dashboard.
- Language cookie (todofy.language): stored only in your browser; we do not receive its value on our servers unless you change language (which updates the cookie locally).
6.How to manage or delete cookies
You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent language preferences from being remembered and can affect how locale URLs work.
For app-related storage (sign-in tokens, task data), use the in-app account and data settings or see our Privacy Policy.
