1.Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you") and Todofy (operated by Abdulla-al Rakib), established in Vienna, Austria (the "Provider", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the Todofy website, mobile applications, and API (together, the "Service") while Todofy is offered as a free application.

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2.Free application — own interest

Todofy is a personal task-management product. You may capture tasks by typing or by voice (within fair usage limits), set reminders, connect with a limited number of people for sharing, and access your data on iOS and the web.

Todofy is a personal MVP project by Abdulla-al Rakib. We make it available as a voluntary service. You use it in your own interest — anyone may use the features described here.

We may change, suspend, or end features, or adjust fair-use limits, as needed to operate the Service responsibly.

3.Data in the European Union

Your account and task data are hosted in the European Union. How we process personal data — including AI voice processing — is explained in our Privacy Policy.

4.Age Requirements and account security

Todofy is designed for users of different age groups. There is no general minimum age of 16 for using Todofy.

Where applicable data protection laws require parental or legal guardian consent for the processing of a child's personal data, Todofy will comply with the applicable legal requirements.

The applicable age thresholds and consent requirements may vary depending on the user's country or region. Users are responsible for complying with the laws applicable to them when using Todofy.

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child's use of Todofy complies with the applicable laws and requirements.

By using Todofy, you confirm that you are legally permitted to use the Service under the laws applicable to you.

5.Voluntary use

You use Todofy voluntarily. There is no purchase obligation. Fair-use limits keep the Service available for everyone.

6.Fair use and limits

To keep the free Service available for everyone, we apply technical limits (for example monthly voice seconds, per-recording length, connection caps, and abuse protections). We may change these limits as needed to operate the Service responsibly.

You agree not to automate abuse, bypass limits, overload the Service, or use it for unlawful purposes.

7.AI-assisted features

Voice-to-task uses AI (including OpenAI) only when you record. Output may be imperfect — review titles, dates, and reminders before relying on a task. We do not sell your task content or use your private tasks for advertising or model training.

8.Your content

You retain ownership of your tasks and related content. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to operate the Service for you. Private content is not used for advertising or model training.

9.Termination

You may close your account anytime from Account → Data & Privacy. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing would create undue risk or cost.

10.Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We aim for reasonable care but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your voluntary use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Austrian or applicable EU consumer law.

11.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria. EU/EEA consumers also benefit from mandatory protections of their country of residence where applicable.
